Cadet College Mohmand(CCM) is located on Mohmand- Bajaur road at the height of 2760 feet above sea level. It falls in warm region. The elegant building of CCM has been constructed in a short span of time by Pakistan Army, funded by Govt of KP. The foundation stone was initially laid in 2005 at Ghazi Baig by Lt Gen (Retd) Iftikhar Hussain, the then Governor KP but due to non-availability of sufficient land, construction work could not started. In Oct 2017, Lt Gen Nazir Ahmed Butt, Commander 11 Corps with Fida Muhammad Wazir, Additional Chief Secretary FATA took principal decision to construct CCM at Mamad Gat, Mohmand. Mr. Mehmood Hassan, the then PA Mohmand Agency acquired the land from local Mashran for construction of the College. Finally, the Earth Breaking Ceremony was held by Maj Gen Inam Haider Malik, GOC 45 Engineers Division on 14 Oct 2017. Construction work got started in Feb 2018 and completed in May 2019. On 22 Jan 2020, Govt of KP issued Gazette Notification of CCM. On 25 Oct 2020, 1st Entry comprising of 62 x Cadets joined in Class VIII after qualifying Written Test, Interview and Medical formalities at Cadet College Warsak (CCW). Formal inauguration of the College was held on 2 Nov 2020 by Mr. Mehmood Khan, Chief Minister KP and regular classes started on 3 Nov 2020. Prime purpose of CCM is to impart quality education. It is playing a vital role as a leading educational institute because it focuses on uplifting the socio-economic standard of not only the inhabitants of Tribal Districts of Mohmand, Bajaur and Khyber but nationwide. The fundamental objective of establishing this College is to empower the students to fulfill their academic and professional passions in an institution that is diverse, welcoming and very well equipped for a competitive and challenging life. The College offers equal opportunities to its Cadets to learn, discover, examine critically, persevere and transmit knowledge and wisdom with an aim of the College is to create and furnish a positive, vigilant, restorative and invigorating environment for the Cadets to learn and lead. The College contributes to inspire its learners to be well-disciplined, positive-minded, have a bright outlook to encourage humanity and nurture reverence in an age of global community.
